Yossi Aboksis

Ass. Coach  :Role

Assistant coach Yossi Abuksis was one of the best and toughest midfielders in Israel. Growing up in Hapoel youth teams, Abuksis moved to senior squad and played 5 years in the first team. The next 8 years Abuksis travelled through different teams in Israel such as Bnei Yehuda, Zafririm Holon and Beiter Jerusalem. Abuksis played for Beitar 5 seasong and led the team to 2 championship titles. In 2001 Abuksis came back home to Hapoel for 2 more years, during 2003/04 he moved to Ashdod FC but things didn't workout and he came back to Hapoel. Abuksis was the team captain until his retirement in 2006/07, leading the team to 2 consecutive wins in the state cup. New coach Guy Luzon's arrival forced Abuksis to retire from the game, placing him as the team's scout. After Luzon's firing Abuksis filled the coach role and led the team in Spain where they beat Getafe FC in the group stage of the UEFA cup. After the club signed Eli Guttman as head coach Abuksis placed as his assistant.
